From Butterworth, you then have to take a 15 minute ferry trip over to Georgetown on Penang Island.

Other Options on How to Travel from Seremban to Penang by Train
To connect to other ETS services heading to Penang from Seremban station you can:
1) The best option is to take a regular and cheap KTM Komuter train from Seremban to KL Sentral railway station.
From KL Sentral you can catch one of the more frequent trains on the KL to Butterworth route (laluan).

We would highly recommend you book you ETS tickets before heading off to KL Sentral Station, as services to Butterworth can often be fully booked.
Prefer to travel from Seremban to Penang by bus?
Another option if the direct trains to Butterworth are full, is to take one of the trains on the KL to Padang Besar route, get off at either Taiping or Parit Buntar, then connect to the KTM Komuter services to Butterworth (see links below for more information.
2) Take the ETS train the travels from Seremban to Padang Besar - Get off at either Taiping or Parit Buntar - then connect to the KTM Komuter service to Bukit Mertajam (BM) - From BM you then have to change Komuter trains to Butterworth.
