KTM Komuter Trains from Butterworth Penang to Taiping

Keretapi Komuter KTM dari Butterworth Penang ke Taiping

It is now possible to travel on the cheaper commuter train services between Butterworth and Taiping.

From Butterworth, you used to have to take a Komuter Train to Bukit Mertajam, then change trains there for Komuter services to Taiping.

However, from March 2020, there are direct commuter trains from Butterworth to Taiping.
