1) The Butterworth to Padang Besar route.

2) The Butterworth and Bukit Mertajam to Padang Rengas route.

Booking Arau Komuter Train Tickets

It is not possible to make an advance booking for any commuter train.

Tickets are only sold on the day of travel, so just turn up at the station, buy a Komuter ticket, then take the next Komuter train.

Seating is on a first come first served basis just like on a tube / subway train.

If you want to travel with a reserved seat, you will have to take one of the more expensive Electric Train Services (ETS for short).
