There is a choice of three trains that operate every day on this route, including an overnight sleeper train, where you can purchase berths and get a good nights sleep while you travel.

All the Intercity Train services from KL Sentral to JB Sentral have been cancelled from 19th May 2016.
From this date you will have to catch an ETS Train to Gemas, then a Shuttle Train to JB Sentral.

From 1st July 2015 all trains will terminate at JB Sentral Railway Station.
A new Shuttle Train Service will then be in operation.
These Shuttle Trains depart JB for Woodlands Station in Singapore 12 times a day and take just 5 minutes to get there.
Tickets cost RM 5 to Singapore.

If you find that the trains are full for the days you want to travel, the other alternative is to go by bus. There are dozens of coaches departing at all times of the day from Kuala Lumpur and Singapore.
